Abstract
Narrative as an interpretive important source was considered in a different ways by the Isalmic scholars and especially exegetes of the Quran. Some exegetes only narrate Hadith in their works for explanation the verses of the Quran and others besides narrating the hadiths attempt to analyze and criticize them. One of these commentators is Sayyed Qutb who has written an important commentary called "Fi Zilal Al-Quran". In addition to narrating the hadith, auther analyze hadith both in chain and text of the hadith. For this purpose, he has applied some criteria. Some important of them are: Necessity of aggriment of hadith to the Quran, certainity Sunnah and maner of the Prophet, wisdom, certaintity history and so on. Resolving of the contradicted hadiths is other prerogative for this commentary.
